Well, after reading the reviews that were posted about the sizes running on the smaller side, I tried to contact the company to ask for a size chart, since it was not posted with the listing for the dress. I left a voice mail which was never returned so I just looked up other items they had on amazon for the chart.
When the item arrived I realized why it was on sale for $[...]. The materials was cheap and a bit see through, but still a very pretty design and fabric. The cup size was the biggest problem. I did measure my chest and selected a size 2x as I am a 38 D cup size….The cups on the dress however would have been suited to a size 36B…maybe, but at that the cups do not offer full coverage. It’s like a demi cup bra where your boobs might spill out over the top!!!!????!!!. If they had opted for full cup sew ins for the chest, the dress would have been nice, now I’m doing my own alterations on it to just have it as a nice skirt. lol

It is a very cute dress, and it fit perfectly around the waist, hips and the width of my chest, BUT the molded cups were only about half the size they needed to be for me, and I’m only very slightly bustier than average!

I love this dress. However, the very first day I went to put it on, the straps broke. There are little plastic round things holding the straps together. So I had my mum sew them back. They broke again, then I had to hand-sew them back. Haven’t had any problems since doing that. Also, yeah the cups are formed. Again, had my mum alter the dress for me. She had to bring the cups closer together.
Now it fits perfectly and my boyfriend tells me how pretty I look when I wear it! It’s perfect for summer, paired with black kitten heels.

Really nice to see a product that epitomizes some of the best of 50’s fashions, and combines that with today’s comfort. A very clean and crisp dress for everyday wear. June Cleaver would be proud!

The sizes aren’t the ‘norm’ be sure to measure first and check the size chart. The dress was adorable. I don’t think it needed the molded cups, that kind of suggests everyone is the same size… if the dress had fit me, I am sure the cups wouldn’t have!
I returned it and was prompty refunded. Easy company to deal with, just disappointed about the dress not fitting.
